Daily life, advice and reviews from an everyday mummy.

Did you know the immunisation schedule is changing from Autumn? Babies born after 1st August will now receive the hepatitis B vaccine.

This will be added to the 8,12, and 16 week schedule making it a 6-in-1 vaccine alongside diphtheria, polio, tetanus, whooping cough and hib.

The UK is one of the last European countires to add this to their schedule and will provide added protection for all babies and not only those deemed most at risk. Although Hep B is a rare condition, hopefully this will keep levels low.
